1. About these terms

These terms apply to Tevuki Custom Cards and supplement any mandatory checkout terms presented by the Merchant of Record. Tevuki is operated by the person identified in the Legal Notice. By placing an order, you agree to the version shown at checkout.

The public paid service is not ready to launch until the Legal Notice is complete and the checkout, withdrawal and processor controls described in these documents are active.

2. The Custom Cards product

One purchase provides one personalised set from the sets displayed before payment, plus a printable PDF. The card count and included scenes for each set are shown before payment. You select the set in Studio and may change it until full-set generation begins. The purchase includes one initial character master and one additional master attempt.

Source photos are used to create an illustrated character, which is then substituted into Tevuki's prepared scenes. AI generation is probabilistic: exact likeness, pixel-identical scenes and error-free output are not guaranteed. You must review and approve the master before the full set is generated and review the finished cards before using them.

New sets, a different person, printed goods and future video products are separate purchases unless checkout explicitly says otherwise.

3. Eligibility and authority over photos

You must be at least 18. Each photo must show you, or a person for whom you are the parent, legal guardian or otherwise legally authorised representative. You confirm that you have all permissions required to upload and transform the photos, including any required co-guardian consent.

Clinicians, schools, care providers and other organisations may not use the consumer Studio to upload patient, client or student photos. Contact Tevuki before any such use so the necessary agreements and authorisations can be assessed.

4. Acceptable use

You must not upload or request content that:

• you have no legal right or authority to provide;
• is illegal, abusive, deceptive, exploitative or infringes another person's rights;
• sexualises a minor or depicts intimate, bath, toilet, undressing or bed scenes;
• is used for face recognition, identity verification, surveillance or impersonation;
• attempts to bypass provider safety controls or disrupt the service.

Tevuki may reject or stop an order where processing would be unsafe, unlawful or contrary to provider rules. Where the problem is not caused by your breach, the Refund Policy applies.

5. Educational purpose

Custom Cards are general educational and visual-learning materials. They are not medical devices, therapy, diagnosis, professional advice or a substitute for an individual assessment. Tevuki does not promise a clinical, developmental or behavioural outcome.

6. Checkout, price and contract

The total price, currency, taxes, seller of record and available payment methods are shown before you place the order. The Merchant of Record may process payment, tax, fraud checks and refunds under its own terms. Tevuki remains responsible for operating the Studio and handling photos as described in the Privacy Policy.

A contract is formed when checkout confirms acceptance of the order. We may cancel and refund an order that cannot lawfully or technically be fulfilled.

7. Delivery, approval and changes

Delivery times shown in Studio are estimates. Generation may be delayed by image safety checks, provider availability or the need for replacement photos. Once you approve the master and start full-set generation, the selected set and person cannot be changed for that order.

If the finished set has a material technical defect, contact us promptly. We may repair or regenerate affected files. If we cannot deliver the purchased set within a reasonable additional period, applicable statutory remedies and the Refund Policy remain available.

8. Licence and ownership

You retain your rights in source photos. You grant Tevuki and its disclosed processors a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them only as needed to validate, generate, deliver, secure and support the order.

After payment, Tevuki grants you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the delivered cards at home and to share them with family members, caregivers and educators supporting the depicted learner. You may print reasonable copies for that use. You may not resell, publish as stock, sublicense, train an AI model on, or remove Tevuki rights notices from the materials unless Tevuki agrees in writing.

9. Responsibility and liability

You are responsible for the truth of your photo-authority confirmations and for reviewing output before use. To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for loss caused by your culpable breach of those obligations.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, product liability, or mandatory consumer rights. For ordinary negligence, Tevuki is liable for breach of essential contractual duties only to the extent of foreseeable, typical damage, where legally permitted.

10. Refunds and withdrawal

The Refund and Withdrawal Policy forms part of these terms. It does not limit mandatory rights relating to defective or non-conforming digital products.

11. Governing law and disputes

German law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, except that a consumer keeps any mandatory protection provided by the law of their habitual residence. Mandatory rules on jurisdiction remain unaffected. Please contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve a problem directly.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms for future orders. The terms accepted for an existing order continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or is expressly agreed. Questions: [email protected].
